Sheep Do Not Sheer Anymore

First thing I did in the game is shear a few sheep cause why not? I tried shearing the sheep and the sheep retained its wool. It didnt change to the sheared skin. This happened for all the other sheep I tried as well. It still ate grass and allowed me to shear it again, but nothing visually changed.
