Nametagged horse despawns

So I had a horse and I tamed and nametagged it and I equipped a saddle on him. Then I went mining but I went far but it shouldn't despawn as it's tamed and nametagged, but when I went up I didn't see it. So that means it despawned, so can please fix this issue?
