Piglins Only Barter 3 Items

When bartering with piglins, throwing a golden item on the ground causes the Piglin to only drop a single Nether Wart block. Pressing the left trigger on them only causes them to drop a single block of obsidian and flint and steel. Tried multiple times but this is all I would get every time.
