Minecraft crashing on iOS 8.4.1

When launching the app on iOS 8.4.1, you can see a white screen, and then the app crashes about a second after being opened. This happens on every device I own that runs iOS 8.4.1, including my iPhone 4S and iPad 4. Both devices were fully restored before the app was downloaded.
