my ps4 account doesn't sign in to my microsoft account

I press the sign in button on my ps4 so that it connects with my Microsoft account but it only loads for barely a second and tells me my connection failed. I heave tried multiple times to no success. I've tried restarting my router, my ps4, removing and placing the cd back in. IDK what should I do?
