Blocks placed down turns into a different block (Multiplayer)

When playing in multiplayer, I placed down an oak wood plank on the floor but instead, it turned into a dirt block. It may only happen if you craft first because I did. It may also happen randomly.

What I expected to happen was...:
The wood block would be placed down as normal.

What actually happened...:
The wood block turned into a dirt block.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use a crafting table to craft a block.
2. Place down the block.
3. It may or may not turn into something else in your inventory. ( Could happen randomly so try doing it again and again.)
