Unexpected Skin Switches happens in Multiplayer

When a player that has a custom imported skin changes, it changes everyone else with a custom imported skin. It is very annoying and has been happening since 1.13.1

It would be lovely if you could find the source of the glitch/ bug because there is no solution at the moment. When someone else changes back to their original custom skin, everyone who also has an imported skin changes to theirs.
