I lost all my things

Last night I was quietly mining, when out of nowhere an Enderman appeared and attacked me, after that I died and reappeared in my house, I returned to where I died and killed the Enderman, but all my things and all the minerals that I already I mined (among them one of the first diamonds I had found), EVERYTHING disappeared, absolutely EVERYTHING, and I really hope that is just a bug of the game, and I hope that you can help me with this. Thank you
