Milking a cow causes milk in bucket to dissapear

I walk up to a cow to get milk from it. If I walk away or don't make the cow be centered on the crosshair the milk insantly vanishes and I have to milk the cow again. The same happens If I milk and just run away after a bit. It's been a pretty annoying bug that makes me sit and watch a cow for about 4 seconds after right clicking it.
