I can't join my friend's realm on my android phone, but on my pc I can connect just fine.

Last week my friend started a realm and I joined on the Windows 10 edition of bedrock, and found no issues. I later tried playing on my xbox and again was let in without any problems. Last night I bought the pocket editionso that I could play on the realm on the go, but when I tried loading the realm on my phone it got stuck on loading resources. I'm unsure how to fix this and I have seen very minimal advice on the topic. Any help would be appreciated
