A glitch with Shifting/Crouching

I had a problem where when i shifted i would still fall of the block. I opened up one of my older worlds and started building when I went to shift/crouch I fell of the block. Sorry but this is the only information I had even after messing around with the bug Sorry i can't figure out how to show visual apparently because on Switch
