Unable to join beta worlds with friends

Me and my friend want to play minecraft together but every time one of us tries to join the other ones world it just says "Unable to connect to world" We uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, we eve restarted or devices but nothing works, can someone help with this? We just want to make videos together
