Ghost blocks when logging out

I made a zero tick sugarcane farm and had it running for a while working fine, but I logged out without turning it off and when I logged back in some of the waterlogged stairs I was pushing with alternating pistons became ghost blocks. I couldn’t move through them, break them, or interact with them. I couldn’t even take the water from them. This bug is reproducible as I’ve had it happen 3 times with the same exact blocks in the farm every time
