Piglins don't inspect gold ingots before giving the player the bartered item

I gave some gold ingots to a piglin.

What I expected to happen was...:
The piglin would inspect the gold prior to giving me the bartered item.

What actually happened was...:
The piglin gave me the bartered item right away.

Steps to Reproduce:
Find/Spawn a piglin.
Right click/drop some gold ingots.
