AFK Fishing is a big exploitation and is unfair to non PC players

I play On PC windows 10 and I play in realms with my friends and some are console and others are PC and my friends are having a argument that AFK fishing should not be done as it is a exploitation and others think it should be in the game I just think it is not good and not hard earned so I think it should be removed as it is unfair I just wanted to know the plans in the future with AFK fishing will it be removed and if not why. This exploit makes the game a lot less fun and unfair for others.
