Something went wrong login failure

Since the last update I have not been able to sign in with my Microsoft account on my PS4. I am able to sign in on PE but on my PS4 the initial sign in fails and all attempts to manually sign in fail. I deleted the game and reinstalled, it didn't fix the issue. I tried to clear the sign in data in settings but that did not yield different results. I still have access to my purchased content and am able to purchase new content but I can't join friends or invite others to join my world.
