Minecraft Input Delay on Controller

Me and other people have been experiencing a delay in movement, for example I move to the left and a half a second later it moves. It's very annoying and I pvp a lot and I just can't play like this. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game and am having the same problem, when are they going to fix this!!!
