Dyeing shulker boxes make the items vanish

dyed multiple shulker boxes and contents vanished in all.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Obtain a shulker box and a dye of any kind.
2. Place the shulker box and put an item in it.
3. Break the shulker box and dye it in Survival mode directly from the recipe book.
4. Move the cursor over the shulker box to see that it still has the item in it.
5. Try to place the shulker box. 
6. The shulker box will be placed for a split second and then return to your inventory empty.
