Audio when using headphones is broken

The audio glitch happens when I am playing Minecraft with my Logitech G533 headset. If I am walking in game in a straight direction, either forward, backward or side to side, I get absolutely no walking audio. If I walk in any diagonal direction however, I do get walking audio but it cuts in and out. This totally breaks immersion as the sound is not consistent.
