No in game background music

As long as I have played Minecraft There has been no music for the longest time I did not know it has music on Java there is even a music setting and there is still no in game music. My friends also do not have music. I do not know if this is a bug or something that is gust not in bedrock. Someone has reported this before but it said it was fixed and it is not
