App won't launch after preferences update on user

• Minecraft on iPad was working fine.
• Daughter wanted to add friends, but received access message saying needed to go to xbox account and change setting to add friends
• Went through the process of linking family account so I could change settings for her
• Changed settings per instructions on X-box account so daughters user was now allowed to add friends
• Since change, Minecraft crashes when loading, and closes right out about 2/3 along the status of the Minecraft splash screen
