Spruce trees don’t generate all their logs

When either 1x1 or 2x2 spruce trees are grown from saplings, they generate with a lot of missing log blocks around where leaves appear. Usually it’s a fair amount of the logs that are missing with leaves in its place.

This can be reproduced by planting a 2x2 spruce tree (it’s more obviously on the bigger trees) and using bonemeal.
