Microsoft account isnt properly linked

When the Microsoft account is linked to minecraft for the first time it works properly but when the application is reopend its unlinked and when clicking on sign in its saying "We tried to sign you in to your Microsoft Account, but something went wrong." Many of us have cross platform friends that want to play with us amd this bug is stopping us from doing that. Very appreciated if this got fixed soon.
