Arrow icon in furnace still appears filled after smelting an item

Steps to Reproduce:

Place a furnace, blast furnace, or smoker.
Put fuel and a smeltable item in it.
Let the arrow icon fill up slightly and exit the furnace.
Wait 10 seconds or until the furnace shuts off and then open the furnace. The arrow icon will still appear filled.
