My tp command likes to do little trickshots with snowballs and arrows

Basically I have a repeating command that tps snowballs to me (tp ^ ^ ^1 facing @p). Half of the time it flies kinda straight to you, but the other half it just do random loops and direction change, sometimes for a long time before flying towards me again. I've tested the command with mobs as well, and in longer tps the mob shakes side to side.
