Dragon Breath in End is invisible

Upon entering The End and attempting to climb obsidian pillars, it appeared as though I was suffocating in an air block. As I re-entered The End Portal, I went to retrieve my belongings and I was taking substantial damage, as though I was standing directly in the Dragon's breath. At the time that I discovered the bug, the dragon was perched on the Bedrock pillar and doesn't usually attack the player with her breath.
