On-Screen Keyboard gets stuck

When i have a gamepad connected to my phone and try to type something to my friends using the on-screen keyboard, the keyboard gets stuck in place and won't go away unless i exit the game. This happens in all places the keyboard can pop up and only when a gamepad is on.

This didn't happen in any past version, please help.
