Characters not syncing properly across platforms

Issue: Characters do not sync across platforms properly and require multiple reloads of skins.

 

Expected behavior: Characters can be changed on on platform and changes will be applied across platforms without having to reload skins.

 

Steps to reproduce:

1) On one platform, open Minecraft and log into a Microsoft account.

2) Click "Profile" and change a skin or character.

2) Quit the character editor and return to the title screen.

3) On a different platform, open Minecraft and log into the same Microsoft account used earlier.

4) Click "Profile".
