chickens don't follow when near stone walls

Was trying to get a chicken to follow me, but the chicken kept moving towards the stone wall I had.

What I expected to happen was...:
Chicken to follow me normally

What actually happened was...:
Chicken walked towards stone wall and stopped moving, even though its head was turned slightly in my direction, and the entire chicken was facing the stone wall

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get seeds
2. Place a line of stone walls
3. Lead chicken alongside stone wall
