Bee Nest stuck in chest/inventory/shulker

I was about to set up a bee/honey farm using the bunch of bee nests that I found earlier on, only to find that all the nests wont leave the shulker. I used a hopper to move them to a chest but when I try take them out chest or shulker they bounce back.

 

I then tried breaking the chest and picking up the nests, but once they were in my inventory I couldn't remove them or place them and when I try opening any chests etc or activating buttons holding the nest, nothing happens. 

 

Literally had to suicide over a bunch of hoppers in order to get the nests into a chest for when this gets fixed so they aren't taking up inventory space.

 

Tested on Windows 10 and Android. Also been told it happens on xbox as well.
