When i mine in prison for a while I camt go sell them anymore

When I go mining in prison, after a while everyone freezes and i cant sell anything anymore. I can even dig myself out in the sky where i fall in clouds below the prison. I lose all when i have to restart game. It fixes it, but temporarily and I lose everything I digged for 40 min. Help please
