Game freezes about 45% of the way through the initial loading screen.

Not 100% on affected version as I can't actually get that far. My game has been freezing for two days on the initial load screen (the white one with the minecraft logo). It gets about 45% of the way through the load bar and freezes on the same bar every time.

 

Please resolve.
