Problem signing into my Microsoft account on Minecraft Pocket Edition

This problem for me occurs every time I try to sign into my account on Microsoft. Recently I bought Minecraft Pocket Edition and every time I sign into my Xbox/Microsoft account the entire app freezes and/or crashes. I’ve tried reinstalling the apps many times and nothing has changed.
