Narrator stuck on and constant freezing

The Narrator is stuck on, despite looking into the xbox settings and seeing that the narrator option is not selected. Therefore I have been playing the game without audio. Also as im playing if i enter the inventory screen the game will most of the time freeze, making me have to close the game and re-open it
