Minecraft will freeze leaving you unable to play

Minecraft will freeze every time I try to get on. I can't click buttons or anything. Usually, this issue only happens if I'm not connected to the internet, but my internet is doing fine, so I don't know what to do. I deleted the game TWICE and nothing happened. I shut down my iPad multiple times, nothing happened. I tried deleted other apps and games that might've been taking up space, still nothing. I have been unable to play for a while, which is really disappointing because I was excited to get on with some friends and play on our world. PLEASE fix this. Thanks!
