The game will freeze while trying to load the game

I was playing minecraft and it started to crash every 5 minutes of playing. Then it got worse. It would crash while loading the world. Then it started to crash before it loaded the world. And now I can't even get into the game because it freezes. I have a video of a few times it froze, and left me with nothing to do but close the application.
