Minecraft PE freezing

Minecraft PE recently started freezing up. It keeps freezing, like when I am fighting, but also  when I am loading. It is so bad, I am considering just deleting minecraft. I can't play like a used to. Minecraft is one of the ways I connect with friends. I really want this to be fixed and this is one of the most annoying bugs.
