Freezing during app load - iPad 6th Gen (A1893), iOS v. 13.3

During app load, the Minecraft app appears to freeze.  This behavior happens about 75% of the time.  Once loaded, however, the app will freeze during gameplay or while navigating the menus prior to even creating a game or joining a world. This behavior occurs whether you are playing network games, local (private) game, or Realms. 

Troubleshooting completed: 
1.  Removed all Resource packs and re-started app.  No change in behavior

2.  Removed all local worlds and re-started app.  No change in behavior.

3.  Offloaded app and re-installed app.  No change in behavior.

4.  Uninstalled app and re-installed.  No change in behavior.

5.  Ran app without Microsoft Live! Account (default).  No change in behavior.

 

I have checked a number of forums and I have seen a number of folks with the same issue.  I attempted to log the activity but the logs do not appear to be saving, regardless of log configuration.
