Locating server

I can only join my friends world sometimes (he’s on Xbox one , I’m on ps4) both of us are on bedrock . Only sometimes we can join and play with each other but most the time I cannot connect to his world , it gets stuck on locating server. It’s not a problem with our consoles as we’ve changed no settings and have played before . It’s minecraft bedrock that’s broken and there needs to be a fix. Sadly nobody from Mojang is willing to help on this issue and when they do reply to this issue they will say something like “ restart the router”, ITS NOT OUR FAULT ITS THE GAME THATS BROKEN. Please fix this in the next update as I speak on the behalf of thousands with the same problem that are getting angry at Mojang for ignoring the problem.
