Chests and bed are disappearing when I logout v1.14.1

My chests are disappearing and this has happened twice in two different worlds. I can hit the chests (even though I can't see them) - and when the chest breaks - the software crashes (closes out). When I log back in, there are no items around where I broke the chest. This also happened to my bed.
