Disconnection from Microsoft Account while playing on PS4

My wife and I play Minecraft together thanks to the cross-platform option (her on ps4, me on switch) and we both experience major occurrences of lag, and she will get disconnected from her Microsoft account fairly often which will in turn boot me from the map. Any way we can fix this is greatly appreciated.
