Using /msg in bedrock edition posts the message in chat to every player rather than the targeted player only.

I can only confirm that this happens on Minecraft Bedrock edition, in survival, on Realms, but it may apply to regular worlds and other game modes as well. When you use the /msg command, the typed message is displayed to all players presently on the world, regardless of which player was the target.
