My Skins I create, fail to load whenever i enter the game.

I got Minecraft and I started to create a skin in with the character creation. Created a world and played the game, everything was okay. I left Minecraft, then when I jump back in it says fail to load character and it said that every time I open the game. I got the game on Christmas and it only worked once, during New years. Please help me as I want to play looking like me. This also includes Market Place skins.
