My horse can't sit in a boat nor can be led by leads

My horse can't sit in a boat nor can be led by leads. The horse couldnt (and can't) be led or sit on a boat after I logged off the game after sleeping in bed and my horse was on a lead attached to a fence . After I logged in the bed and fence with a lead dissapeared but my horse remained . It is a completely single player world.
