Line appeared going THROUGH blocks- prevents interaction with block

Yesterday while planting wheat seeds, a white line appeared through the center of 2 of the blocks. After the line appeared, I couldn’t interact with those blocks anymore. I’ve tried planting numerous times, I can’t destroy those blocks or do anything with them at all. The game knows they exist, I can walk on top of them but if I hit them with any object they don’t respond at all. 

the area I was using was a generated farm area in a village (I didn’t create that farm). When it happened, I was planting wheat seeds, walking backwards as fast as possible. When I got to those blocks nothing happened. I thought I missed clicking on it, and when I tried again, the white line appeared. It’s been a couple of days and they don’t seem to be going anywhere. 

 

I searched everywhere for this but all I could find was issues about white lines around the outside of blocks so I want to clarify the lines are through the center and basically disabled the blocks. This is only two blocks this has happened to. I don’t know how to re create the issue. I could provide the seed if that would help? The village isn’t far from the spawn.
