Lost product

Hello, I was in my house (in my friend's realm, and I was near the bookshelves around the enchantment table. I accidentally left or right clicked (xbox) on one of the bookshelves and they ate my diamond pants that I was trying to enchant... I've tried everything but I can't get them back now. I figured I should let someone know and hopefully someone would have a solution for me or an answer as to wtf happened. Thank you!
