minecraft is being stupid

apparently im speaking about Minecraft Bedrock Edition. So I noticed there is a new update (costume skin maker) and i loved it! but when I dont change it and join The Hive Server, I cant see the skin I made, all I see is a steve with a yellow shirt instead of a blue one! I was surprised. So if you could fix this, it would mean a lot! Thanks, ZwootieRed is my minecraft acc.
