Signing into my Microsoft Account gives me an error (PS4)

For the past few weeks I have been trying to sign in with my Microsoft account in Minecraft on my PS4.  I always get a “failed to login” error saying “We tried to sign you in to your Microsoft Account, but something went wrong.”
