Multiplayer wont let connect over wifi

So my girlfriend and I play mc bedrock on the phone. However no matter what, right now we cant join the same world. We live in the same house and use the same wifi. However everytime the world pops up as open we just get a " unable to connect " message. Before you say anything like "it's that world" we have tried more then one world and it continues with the same thing. We have tried Reinstalling and all that jazz. As well as loose some of our worlds.
