Crash on iOS when Microsoft Authenticator enabled

I downloaded and installed Microsoft Authenticator to use with my MS Live account. I used it to log in once and after that, Minecraft would hard crash from the loading screen (progress bar was about 3/4). I tried restarting device, etc. with no change in behavior. I eventually found that I could turn off/disable all Identity Verification Apps in my Live account (under Additional security options) and then Minecraft loaded as expected.
